1st Nailsea Scouts raises funds with support from Bag2School, who collect used textiles for reuse.
Our next fundraising clothing collection will be at the start of November 2025, so why note make space in your cupboards and raise money for 1st Nailsea Scouts at the same time!
Bagged and clean donations in a re-usable condition would be gratefully received at our HQ on Clevedon Road on Sunday 9 November between 10.30am and 12pm.
See below for the list of what we can and can't accept.
✅Yes please:
- Men's, ladies and children's clothing
- Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)
- Bags of all sorts
- Hats, scarves, ties and belts
- Jewellery
- Bras and socks
❌No thank you:
- Duvets, blankets, pillows and cushions
- Carpets, rugs and mats
- Dirty, painted, ripped or wet clothing
- School uniforms with and without logo
- Corporate clothing and workwear
- Textile off-cuts, yarns or threaded material
